Andreas has worked in the graphic design industry since 1988 in his home state of Ohio. In 1994, he moved to San Francisco, California, where he worked and contracted for several book publishers including IDG Books Worldwide, Lonely Planet Publications, Wilderness Press, Weldon Owen Inc. (Fog City Press), Peachpit Press, and the University of California Press. He also taught graphic communication courses at the City College of San Francisco. In 2007, he and his wife, Áine, moved back to Áine's childhood home near Keene, New Hampshire, where they relocated deDanaan Graphic Design.
